I can't give you the exact quote, but it's the lull - if you can call it lull - between Eddie getting shot and actually dying, when Roland takes pity on Jake and has him leave the room. Oh, that whole section of the book was just so painful. If I teared up at the reunion, here I flat out cried like a baby. And I mean it in the literal, most unpretty meaning of the expression. :P
